Hey all! I'm sure you all missed me, right?
...right?
Nevermind. I kind of forgot about this place, whoopsies. What's going on in my life? Here's a small summary:
Senioritis hit hard, I still don't know what I'm doing after high school, boys are still as confusing as when I was fourteen, especially after losing the big V. I got my hair cut even shorter, lost and gained a couple friends, quit McDonalds, still babysitting (it'll be four years in January), working at a local party store, but looking for third job, not looking forward to winter...
That's all I can think of for now.
Also, when I was younger, I checked my inbox constantly after posting, for the slim chance that someone I barely knew cared enough to comment. Which is why I usually felt the need to say "Pleez comment lolz!!! :D~~" Just wanted to let y'all know I'm more mature than that now, even if it's just slightly. :)
Hope you haven't missed me too much! (Just kidding)
Actually, I hope everyone's had good, memorable, amazing experiences, as I don't think I'll be able to catch up with x number of weeks I didn't check my friends list.
Have a good life and happy holidays, everyone.

Dear kids from my school,
No, I do NOT
1. trust you to get water when you ask for it. Yes, that's why I gave you the child size cup. (You get free refills anyway, why make a scene.)
2. want to give you free food. No, I'm not lying when I say I'd need a manager to do it anyway.
3. think you're hot. I will proceed to giggle when you act like it.

Dear many customers.
THE TRASH CAN IS THERE FOR A REASON. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR TRAYS / WRAPPERS / DRINKS / DIRTY NAPKINS AT YOUR TABLE WHEN YOU LEAVE SO THAT YOUR CASHIER HAS TO CLEAN IT UP.

Dear parents with children,
If I am in the middle of helping just one person, and your child runs up saying "I want ice cream!" I am going to ask them to please wait just a second while finish taking the first person's order. Do not glare at me, I'm not going to leave what I'm doing and get them a small ice cream cone. Your child is usually happy to wait, and if they have to wait, I try giving them more ice cream than usual.

May add more sucky customers later.
In my last entry, I said I'd post my thoughts on Org. XIII. But I still can't figure out my thoughts on that, sorry.

Have I told you about the creepy pedophile that comes into McDonald's and has a crush on me?
Well, he seemed forty-ish and, like with all customers, I was polite and friendly to him. I'd say "hello" and he'd say "How're you doing, sweetie?" (Sometimes it was "Honey") It didn't seem too creepy, so I just answered him, "Fine, how are you? Blah, blah, blah."
One day, after taking his order, he pulled one of my managers aside. I couldn't hear or see them, so I let it be. But then my manager, when they were done, came up to me and asked if he'd done or said anything creepy. I told her that he calls me honey and sweetie. She whispers to me that he told her, "I think I like that girl that waited on me." Then he asked if I was "available" or if I was dating anyone. She told him that yes, I was dating someone.
Then he asked if she, herself, was available. She told him that she was married with kids.
Now everytime he comes in I get the creeps. I'm still polite and friendly, just a little more aware.
My next semester classes are
Geometry (T_T)
Sociology (woot?)
English III (I made it!)
Choir/Study hall (same old, same old.)
Aaaand my stomach is rumbling, that's my cue to leave.
EDIT: HAHAHA! That's why I'm never working in a fast food place. That was from one of my earlier entries.

We had a change in plans:
I didn't, in fact, have to work Thursday (though I have to today), and we left for Anime Iowa on Friday.

It was so much fun! We got up at 5 AM and set out with our bags, blankets and camcorder! We arrived in Coralville in approximately 3 1/2 hours later, ate McDonald's for breakfast, and arrived at the Mariott fifteen or so minutes later.
I was ecstatic seeing the first cosplayer! We had some trouble figuring out the self-pay machine in the parking lot. We got through the registration line and off we were to get hugs, free food from the consuite, and pictures (both the giving and receiving ends.) I cosplayed Winry (FMA), my sister was Micaiah (Fire Emblem 10), and my brother was Luffy (One Piece). There were, like, 7 Luffys there, it was kinda funny. ^^ To my surprise, I was the only Winry. Of course, almost no one knew who my sister was.
The panels I went to: Kingdom Hearts, Wig Styling 101, Creature Creation (upon my brother's request), and... I think that's it.

The Kingdom Hearts panel didn't affect me too much, since I was in the seat farthest away from the front. But it certainly was entertaining from what I could tell and definately memorable!
The lights apparently went out before I came in, and there was a door behind the ladies talking that had light. Someone shouted "it's the door to light!" Much lol'ing was had. Some guy from the panel across from ours (Dubbing 101), came over to see what was going on and walked back to that room, my eyes followed him. I watched him leave and sit back down, the people in the other room started to watch me (at least the people in the front row.) and giggle. I looked back to my panel, but kept turning my head. Every time I did, they were still watching, and laughed even more. Chris Ayres, one of the hosts, said something to me, but I couldn't hear him, so I made a gesture of "What!?" And they laughed. The same guy who came over to the KH panel in the first place got up and shut the doors to their panel. I put my head in my hands, ashamed and embarrassed, and the dubbing panel roared with laughter one last time. So I was forced to um... force my ears to hear the KH panel.
We talked about how Riku and Axel were BFFs, and how Riku wanted to play in the snow with Sora, and the fourteenth member of Organization XIII (wtf?). It was grand. :D

Wig Styling 101 was fun! I sat in the second row, so I could hear just fine.We talked about products to spike, style, and dye wigs. Boy did I feel stupid when she said that you're not supposed to brush wigs with a regular brush. ^^U (*Left her wide-toothed comb at home*) The woman doing the panel, not to my surprise, was an Axel cosplayer and showed us a slideshow of how she did the spikes and such.

Really the only reason I went to Creature Creation was because my brother wanted to go to both that and the "So You want to be a Voice Actor..." panel. (I'm such a nice older sister!) Honestly, I didn't pay as much attention as I should've. >_> So I didn't really learn anything. Thus, no comment on this one.

We also went to karaoke! I sang Sakura Kiss of Ouran High School Host Club! I was mortified to know that it was the whole song, but the guys in charge told me to just make a "Cut-off" signal for when to stop the song. One guy sang "Vanilla" by Gackt, but didn't know the words. XD So he made up random lyrics. ("So~mething in Ja-pa-nee~se") This nice girl that sat at our table, she called herself Yuki, sang something from Peach Girl, and it was amazing! *__* She and I were going to sing the Hare Hare Yukai, but we both had to leave before they called us up. :(

Then there was a guy going around asking people to do the Caramell Dansen so that he could make a video out of it. I obliged, but I guess he hasn't put up the video yet. I'll keep searching though!

There was also cosplay chess! Shonen vs. Shojo. In the first game, my sister did the check-mate! Yay! And Hellboy got owned by "travel-size" Tifa. (A tiny Asian girl dressed as Tifa.)
My brother and I played in the second game and didn't get to move at all. :( But it was fun to watch!

So, yadda yadda, more hugs and pictures. There was one guy I noticed with his cell phone pointed at me but he was waiting for people to pass. (How did I know it was at me? He kept looking right at me. XD) So once the passing people were gone, I posed and he thanked me and took the picture.
My sister was really happy when she found someone who recognized her XD.
There was a pocky game too. If you're not familiar with the pocky game, it's where someone gets out a bottle (or cell phone in our case) and spins it, the person who it lands on has to share a pocky stick with the person who spun. It's fuun! (it never landed on me, though! ^_^)
It's kind of hilarious that my sister's first kiss was at an anime convention. My brother got lots of crap from everyone since he was hungry and thus, no matter the gender, stuck the pocky right in his mouth. Since all of us were playing, a rule was made that siblings could just break the pocky, in the situation that one of us got each other.

And finally, just before we left on Saturday, I got a hug from Kyle Hebert! *squee*

So that was my awesome weekend!
Now for a less awesome subject, school starts tomorrow... And I've got English II, school age child, informal geometry, and choir. *sigh*

Also: Mom calling Xigbar a butt pirate is WINx1000000
(EDIT: I forgot!
http://www.new.facebook.com/album.php?aid=52807&id=619320883 This is the stuff I got at the dealer's room! +my badge)

They keep itching, it's really worrying me. (hates spiders) I'm SO going to shake out my blankets and search my bed thoroughly before I sleep tonight. >.<

Second: I think it's official: I'm going to fail the first semester of English II. (But I'm supposed to be the English genius of the family!) How did that happen, you ask? My research paper on astrology. I am supposed to present facts about it being truthful and then about it being well, not. It's much harder than it sounds. (Now don't hurt me but...) I'm just going to give up doing it, seeing as it's due Tuesday and I've not even started a rough draft much less finished gathering information. I can take it next year! No worries (other than being humiliated, being practically disowned by my grandparents, and being a let-down to all the teachers who thought I was smart), right?

Third: Speaking of that assignment, Mom and I were at the library trying to find books about astrology, and we gave up after a bit and looked around for other books that we'd want. (I got Chibi Vampire: The Novel) My mom found a group of cd's called...*checks* Pimsleur Language Program: Japaese, it's awesome to the possum. Then, at the bookstore in the mal, I got this awesome little Japanese-English dictionary, while my sister got a tiny book called "Japanese at a Glance" with all these helpful phrases and such. :3 (I steal it from her room from time to time.)

Fourth: There is no fourth.

Fifth: Umm, hmm... Out of curiousity, I looked up our town's name (and Iowa of course) on YouTube. There was a lot of stuff about McCain, Edwards, and Obama visiting, skateboard/biking videos from kids in our school, and our sports teams in various places. I thought it was all pretty boring, and thought "hmm, I should post a video--a FUN video--on YouTube."

My little brother's 14th birthday is tomorrow. It kind of scares me. We have pictures of him as a baby: kicking and screaming with a body so tiny, that when Mom wrapped him in a small blanket, you couldn't see anything but his face.
Now, he's in 8th grade, with a crush on a nice girl. He's in cross-country track, basketball, and wrestling. He has a deep voice and is already starting to get facial hair. He's taller than my sister and I, nearly as tall as Mom. Girls are getting crushes on him and confessing their feelings. Now, I think I know how Mom feels about us.
The thought of him ever leaving really scares me--what if he loses his job? (When he gets one of course) What if he gets kicked out of school once my sister and I graduate? "What if" possibilities keep running through my mind, it's driving me nearly to the brink of tears!
Wait, what will MY future have in store? And my sister's, and Mom's? And my friends'? I'm such a worrywart, but I deserve to be, right?
...Right?
1/16/08 7:45 p.m.

Wrote this earlier, obviously. Since then, I've been playing Trauma Center: Second Opinion with said little brother. It's fun! (I get to be the nurse! ^^) I've also been driving him crazy by constantly commenting about how cute the doctor is. Haha!

First period is English II: I am SO in love with this class. I had the same teacher for creative writing last year, and she's awesome to the max! She's funny, nice, and strict all at the same time; it's wonderful! We're studying mythology right now! One of my favorite subjects!
Second period is health: Oh, Lord... teacher yells a lot. I guess it's more: He has a loud voice, but he is funny. I honestly wouldn't take this class if it weren't required...
Third period is biology: The teacher kind of scares me... she seems mean, and slightly stupid. I'm not even joking. :\
Fourth period, obviously, is choir!: No problems here! :D (Except I keep going down on a note we're supposed to keep the same. I sing ga-ame when I'm supposed to sing game~ It sucks, but sure gets the giggles out of my folder partner.)

So, my ex and I hooked back up (like, a few weeks ago, lol). And, as an early Valentine's present, he got me a huge stuffed dog. It's adorable, it really is.
And I have a journal now, a huge notebook! It's easier, I've found, to keep a notebook as a journal than an actual book MADE for journaling. Funny, isn't it?

Alright, I think I'm done. Have fun everyone~

...that you probably don't care about! ^^

First off: Christmas at Grandma's wasn't exactly what I was hoping for... at all. My dad still smokes and was smoking in the car. The windows were all rolled up. After suffocating for five minutes, Angel asked him to roll the windows down, he did thank goodness! And when we got there, we were greeted by my uncle Greg and uncle Kent: Dad's two older brothers. Dinner was great, afterward, I jokingly complained about having to do dishes, I already swept and mopped at home and walked to the nearby dollar store to pick a few things up. Kent then proceeded to diss on my mom, saying "I've seen her idea of housework, she's much too easy on you guys." -.- W.T.F. After dishes, we opened presents (Undergarnments that don't fit...Thanks, Grandma.) Plus comfortable pajamas and LoZ: Twilight Princess from Kent. Let me tell you something: My SIBLINGS are the avid video game players, not me. I hate nearly all of them with a passion. (Besides DDR and Donkey Konga and Mario Party) Then we went to bed, after watching El Dorado on Cartoon Network.Next day, we leave much earlier than usual because it was snowing. I left my best bra in the hamper last night so it's probably sitting in her dryer right now. (As of now, I'm wearing a bikini top instead. Yikes.) Leaving me to wear the too small bra all of 55 miles back to Fort Dodge. *sigh*

Next: I've been wanting to say this for a while, and it's mostly silly and stupid, but...
Our girls' tennis team had TWO freshman in its regulars. (They were really good too.) Take THAT, Seigaku! XP

Yet another thing: Yesterday, I was hanging out with Cassi, my friend (this is her actual name, I've seen her use it on the internet tons of times so I don't think she'd mind) She was looking for a CD holder for her car and, not finding one, we just looked around at everything else instead. I tried on a couple hats and she said they looked cute on me. (I thought so too, but they were expensive~!) We talked, while looking at scarves and headbands, about our Christmas vacations, our presents etc. When the manager comes over and says "I think it's time for you two to go." She looked very stern and serious so we just left confused. I have no idea why we were kicked out. I put everything back after I picked it up. We weren't being loud, and if we were, there weren't that many people there anyway. Tch, your problem. I think you just lost quite a few customers. (My mom and her parents, not to mention us :P)

Next: MEME! (from
tifarette!)

01. Your name (LJ or real) and its origins
LJ: Not too hard to figure out. My favorite candy bar and a random number! XD
Real: Ayla is the main character of a book my mom once read (Tis a very good book, I recommend it: Clan of the Cave Bear)

02. Height, weight, length of foot, eyesight
About 5'3", 149, ...shoe size? 8 1/2, good enough.

03. Collections
Does Shonen Jump count? I've been collecting those since the summer of '04

04. What you bought recently
World of Warcraft manga for my mom, some body lotion for a friend of Mom's (though she's more like a grandma to me), and some fabric.

05 Interests, hobbies
Tenimyu of course, anime in general, all types of music... Hobbies, writing (which I should be doing more of), sewing, dancing, listening to music

06 Habits (i.e. things one often does, e.g. scratching ears)
I've been told by my ex that I often scratch my nose when I'm embarrassed, snorting when I laugh, etc.

07 Food and drink that you like
Anything sugary, in both cases.

08 Is there anything you're good at cooking?
Hamburgers, home-made fries, pancakes...Mom says I'm good at making coffee, but that's not really cooking, is it?

09 What's your handphone ringtone?
Something that comes with it, I rarely use the thing anyway and it's on vibrate most of the time.

10 What's the first thing you do in the morning when you wake up?
Wait for my sister's music to start playing, then get out of bed.

11 What sort of compliments from a girl/guy would make you happy?
"You have a beautiful smile" something like that...

12 Strengths
Hmm... I can be patient if I want to be, I can be friends with nearly anyone (or so I've been told), I can keep a secret well, I'm open-minded, I can find a good side to many situations.

13 Weaknesses (character)
I'm MUCH too trusting, I'm over-emotional and moody, way too quiet, I get annoyed and bored easily, VERY lazy, underestimate myself, stereotyping people upon first glance, the list goes on and on and on...

14 Everyday, what you take with you when you go out?
My coat? lol, my wallet definately, as well as my junky disposable camera (that only has two pictures left on it...)

15 If you were stranded on a desert island, which of the Tenimyu boys would you want to be stranded with?
Only one? Hmm... Minami, because he gives off this feeling of being logical and having the brains to know what to do in that sort of situation

16 Weaknesses (NOT in character)
Sugar! jk, let's see...math, any sort of history class, I'm easily embarrassed, hard to get me motivated, I cry too much, etc.

17 What skills have you learnt in the past?
Tae Kwon Do! (Brown belt~) And... hmm... that seems to be it.

18 Average sleeping time and the longest you've ever slept
6-7 hours, and longest time, I think, would be 10 hours.

19 When you're busy, how do you regain your energy?
I don't. It's pretty obvious when I'm tired...

20 What did you dream of last night OR what do you often dream about?
I seem to get this one really scary dream once every four years, it's weird: I'll be sitting watching TV in a tanktop and shorts in a very dark room on the floor. Then I'll get up for whatever reason, and walk behind the couch (why couldn't I just sit on that?) to find that my mom is dead. I get scared and run out of the house to see my little brother lying face down with ants crawling all over him, he's dead too. I'll start to call out my sisters name, only to round the corner of the house and find her dead as well. I cry and run down the street that seems to be never ending, when it starts raining people. Dead people who have horrified, pained expressions on their faces or are covered in blood. Some kind of monster that looks like a giant zombie then sneaks up behind me with a knife raised and brings it down on my head.

I always woke up screaming with a horrible headache. (and since it's every four years, and I'm turning 16 next year... uh-oh)

Ayla (Girl of a thousand nicknames, 4srs.)
"Why do they call it fun size? Wouldn't it be funner if it was bigger... The candy bar I mean!"

Fort Dodge Senior High: sophomore
Birthday (Sign): June 11 (gemini)
Blood type: I have no idea!
Techniques: blackmailing! (You don't wanna know, really.) Being completely oblivious and innocent (I've got a story if anyone wants to hear it...)
Committee: Babysitting, if it counts. Attendance office assistant (I run hall passes and stuff.) President of A/M Club. (Sister agreed to switch.)
Worst Subject: American History
Often visited place in school/workplace: French room, restroom (If you've got to go, just tell me instead of waiting until everyone else has gone darnit!)
Elementary School: *counting on fingers* Feelhaver, Pineview, Lytton, Riverside, Hillcrest...
Uses allowance on: Stuff for other people, or stuff I need.
Favorite Motto: "Oh, that's nice"
Favorite types of movies: Any type of comedy.
Favorite type of books: Realistic fiction, Fantasy, manga...
Favorite type of music: Nearly everything. :D
Favorite date spot: Everywhere, I like walking or cruising around
Most wanted thing right now: Motivation?
Daily Routine: Depends on the day. The only definate things I do are go to school and check my f-list.
Doesn't like/bad at doing: Homework!! >:( Going to places alone.
Special skill aside from tennis: <strike> What do you mean "aside from tennis"?</strike> Listening to people.

Lately, a lot of my relatives have been critical of how I look. Examples:
Angel: You looked a lot better with blonde hair
Mom: I can't believe you decided to go dark (brown hair)
Dad: You looked better with long hair
Grandma just implied it with her actions: The reason my bras didn't fit is because she simply refused to believe I lost weight. Thus, she got me the same size she'd been getting me.
Everyone: (exaggeration) OMG STOP WEARING PANTS WITH SKIRTS IT LOOKS RETARDED RAAWR!!!

I happen to LIKE the way I dress thank you very much. It's like it defines me, you know? People know who I am when I walk down the halls with a short skirt and jeans. They remember "It's that weird chick that dresses funny and cries a lot" :\
...Okay. They remember me in a negative way, but still. I can dress however I want to. Stop trying to make me different (It won't work <3 )

List 10 characters from any fandom(preferably the same one), then answers the questions below. Do NOT look at the questions until after you've listed your 10.
Tenimyu Fandom (all schools, all generations, this is going to be fun! ^^) Full names for people who aren't into the tenimyu fandom on my f-list.

1. Nakagauchi Masataka
2. Aiba Hiroki
3. Nagayama Takashi
4. Tsuchiya Yuuichi
5. Moriyama Eiji
6. Kamakari Kenta
7. Aoyagi Ruito
8. Baba Tooru
9. Nakayama Masei
10. Kimeru

1. What song do you want to hear 2 sing? (Aiba Hiroki)
Hmm... Kampai Je T'aime (complete with dance kthx)

2. Which animal do you think 5 is most like? (Moriyama Eiji)
A dog, methinks. Husky to be more specific.

3. Who would initiate the first kiss, 7 or 1? (Aoyagi Ruito or Nakagauchi Masataka)
Psh! Like you have to ask! Masa, definately

4. Which line of any song do you think fits 6 best? (Kamakari Kenta)
"You're so sexy, sexy, sexy..." (Can't remember who sings it! >.<)

5. Is there a character(from a different fandom) that 8 reminds you of? (Baba Tooru)
There should be, and probably is, but I can't think of one.

6. What circumstances would make 9 and 4 become a couple? (Nakayama Masei and Tsuchiya Yuuichi)
...I really have no idea... (anyone more creative than me wanna help? :D)

7. If you walked in on 3 and 10 kissing, what would you do? (Nagayama Takashi and Kimeru)
Promptly run back out of the room and continue watching inconspicuously, all while writing down what I see and occasionly pinching myself to make sure it's not a dream.

8. If you could dye 7's hair, what color would it be? (Aoyagi Ruito)
I'd probably highlight it with some blonde streaks, because I think that would look good on him~

9. Pick up any book/magazine, and in a paragraph/sentance from it, substitute all names with 3. (change 'he' and 'she' if you want or not) (Nagayama Takashi)
My love for Nagayan would never be the same as it had been before--clean, easy, pure.

10. What would 9 look like as the opposite gender? (Nakayama Masei)
...Hot. Like a tomboy I think. Short, black hair. An extremely girly face, but rarely wears makeup. (S)he would have a thin body, but not too muscular, not a very big chest either. (S)he would always wear some kind of accessory though, like a necklace or a bracelet or something subtle like that. (S)he would dress according to the weather but most often would have on some kind of comfortable jeans with a cute shirt of some sort.
...Wow, that was long!

11. Write a line that could come from a fanfic about 8/2. (Baba Tooru/Aiba Hiroki)
"Hello, Aiba-kun" (What? It's a line!)

12. Is 5/6 a common pairing? Do you want it to be? (Moriyama Eiji/Kamakari Kenta)
...I don't think they've ever MET before :| And um... Sure.

13. If 10 was the opposite gender, what would be their name? (Kimeru)
(But... I don't even know his real name!) Kumiko? (lol Burimyu)

14. What do you think 4 dreams about? (Tsuchiya Yuuichi)
Curry... and acting... <strike>and Nagayan</strike>

15. 6 needs advice. What does 1 tell them? (Kamakari Kenta...Nakagauchi Masataka)
Just keep practicing, your dancing will get better eventually! (Forgive me if my characterization is completely off!)

16. 3, 8, and 5 go out drinking. Who's clothes does 3 end up wearing in the morning, and how far into the evening does 8 pass out? What about 5? Who ends up paying? (Nagayama Takashi, Baba Tooru, and Moriyama Eiji)
In order: None, or not much. He doesn't because he refuses to drink as he is not 21 yet (is it different in Japan?), but goes home around 11. MoriEiji knows how to hold his liquor so he doesn't go down until 1 a.m. or so.

17. What kind of present would 10 give 2 for their birthday? (Kimeru...Aiba Hiroki)
Scrunchies! Or they would just have some kind of a sleepover.

18. What part of 4 would 7 find most attractive? (Tsuchiya Yuuichi...Aoyagi Ruito)
His dancing ability! or something...

19. Take a line/paragraph from your favorite fanfiction and substitute names with 9 (and 7 and 10 if there are more names). (Nakayama Masei (Aoyagi Ruito and Kimeru)
"Your blood is beautiful, Masei." Ruito said appreciatively, licking the blood that dripped down the side of the other man's arm. *snort* It just doesn't have the same wonderful imagery as Renji and Yukimura (stole your fic, also, tifa~)

20. If you could spend a day with 1, what would you do? (Nakagauchi Masataka)
(You mean WITH or withOUT the language barrier? XD I'll just go without) Probably just make things up as the day passes. I'd probably just ask questions about tenimyu and the actors and stuff while we walked around looking for a place to eat or have fun. He'd tell me funny stories about different incidents and I'd laugh. We'd mostly just talk I think. (or I just don't have a big enough imagination. :P)

Edit: LJ cuts seem to hate me so what are supposed to be three or four separate cuts are one... enjoy!

Update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. Include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in your own post.
5. When others respond with a desultory comment, you will ask them five questions.

1. From whence came these alleged "comfy pants"? XD
From Goodwill, actually! I believe they're called... Gauchos? (I HAD to have spelled that wrong XD)
2. What's the weather like right now?
Cold. It snowed a couple days ago. This makes Ayla sad. =(
3. What modern technological advancement are you most anticipating (teleportation, flying cars, cure for cancer, etc)?
I... have no idea. Cure for cancer I guess. (I knew a seven-year-old girl with cancer, that also made Ayla sad. But she's cured now!! :"D)
4. If you could have any animal for a pet, what would it be?
A pegasus, to become a pegasus knight! (Fire Emblem ftw!)
5. You have 24 hours in Japan and can do anything you want. Provided you don't sleep at all, plan out something to do for all 24 hours (you can make stuff up too, like, "Go see XX-san's new play from 5:00 to 7:00PM")
          >.< Yikes, hard question. Find and hit up Gain, of course. Watch a Tenimyu/Burimyu/*Pnish*/ whatever-else event. Buy tons of manga and doujinshi, mostly yaoi. XD And... um, shop for cute clothes? :D ((This is, of course, an unrealistic situation in which I had limitless amounts of money.))

Whoops! That was longer than neccessary, sorry about that! I'll put the rest under a cut.

I, honestly, love my job a lot. I get to know the kids, get to have fun with them, and get to teach them. (some anyway, the age range is 6 months-9 years) I take it seriously, but still have fun. Tonight, I went to work, like I do every Thursday. I took my math with me, to finish it before work actually began. Halfway through the assignment, a mother and son arrived, and no one else came until after I was finished, so I felt pretty proud of myself, getting it done before work began. Then I looked at the time: 6:28
Work began at 6:00.
So another mother, with her daughter walked in. There were only two children tonight, and... four babysitters. So, we ate like usual, and went to the playroom. Tonight, there was a new girl (sort of, she had only come once before.). Let's call her... Rachel. Rachel is in fifth grade, and I had a very interesting talk with her tonight:

Ayla: *asking Kenzie if she feels okay*
Rachel: *Playing dodgeball with other babysitter, ignoring both kids*
Ayla: *watches Rachel accidently hit a window with a ball*
Rachel: Whoops, sorry about that! *Picks up ball and throws at other babysitter again*
Chloe: *sees look I'm giving her* Rachel, let's not do that anymore, we don't want to break anything or promote violence.
FEW MINUTES LATER
Chloe and Aaron: *taking kids to get drinks and use restroom*
Ayla: *moment of peace* Oh, I love kids. They're so cute.
Rachel: Not really. They're mostly annoying.
Ayla: *shocked* Then why are you a babysitter...?
Rachel: Well, my mom forces me to watch a kid for one of her friends, so I thought, "why not?"
Ayla: Honestly, if you don't enjoy doing something, then you shouldn't be doing it.
Rachel: *shrugs*

It's not easy to demonstrate attitude over teh intarwebs, but ohh... she had lots of it. Her last shrug seemed like she was saying "Money's money" I know not everyone thinks the same way as me, but if I don't like to do something, I'm not going to do it (unless it's homework, or cleaning around the house.) That's why I'm never working in a fast food place. And that's why I'm working hard at finishing a book (Which, btw, I have three of, all in the making, still.)
Maybe you don't get it, and I don't blame you, but she REALLY got on my nerves tonight. >.<

*Happy thoughts, Ayla, happy thoughts*

<strike>Or however it goes...

So, about a week ago, my mom and her boyfriend of 10 years broke up. We were happy, but he wasn't. Jake (lol another fake name) has been a jerk to both our mom and to his own mom (who is one of the sweetest people I know). He had our mom go out and buy beer for him almost nightly and constantly stalled paying her back for it . He's been trying to get her back, though. And it seems as though it's working... -.-; He even sent her roses at her workplace and a letter.
</strike>

Please read this:
Im sorry for treating you like I did. If I knew you were going to leave me, I would have changed years ago. I blame alcohol for all of this. You know I love you and your kids, I justs didn't want them to see me drinking all the time. Alcohol made me selfish, so I wanted to spend more time with you than your kids. When I drink, I'm a different person, a person I hate and never want to be again. Even though it might be too late, I quit drinking as of Sunday night. (11-11-07)
I will do anything to get you back, you mean more to me than ANYTHING else on this planet. I don't want to party, hang with friends, I want to be with you guys as a family, I am 30 and I know what I'd rather want! Please don't leave me, I can change I swear. Alcohol makes me get stupid, I'm not like that when I'm clean! I'll do anything you want, I can grow up.
Just tell me how to fix this. Please don't give up on me, I would never give up on you. I know I've done some stupid things recently, but I didn't know what I had. All I want is you, and your kids to be HAPPY. I don't know what else to say other than I'm sorry for everything. I've been so stupid, no more alcohol.

If you want to go out to dinner and a movie as FRIENDS, gimme a call
(phone number here. Tch, as if it's not already on our phone.)

<strike>So, this letter just about made me cry. And I talked on the phone with his mom, who's been living with him for a while. She says Jake's been drinking lemon iced tea instead of beer now, and has been eating healthier, and has been working out.
Then, I talked to Jake himself. Remember in one of my earlier entries, I said he might let us move in with him? I asked if he was serious about it, since Mom said he told her "If that's what it takes to get closer to all of you, then yes." He is talking it out with Mom as I type.

Now, I like him, even if he DID think I was a boy at first sight. He's funny and makes us laugh and seems really proud of us and interested in what we do.
But I'm also afraid that he'll say all this stuff and then go back to drinking again. And Mom won't be able to break up with him again. God, I'm crying now.
If you care about this at all (haha), what do you think?

</strike>Edit: Nevermind. Let's start with school...

1st period, French II: HOMG I LOVE THIS CLASS! Ahem. That is all
2nd period, American History: It's not exactly my favorite subject, I'm getting a C- in it right now. I tend not to pay attention in there, it kind of helps that I sit in the VERY back. As in, there weren't enough desks, so we had to take from Mr. Takatsuka's class. Overall, I don't really like it.
3rd period, Algebra 1b: GRR, I HATE MATH. But I feel bad, because the teacher is really nice. I know how to do the stuff, I just don't turn the fricking homework in! Or get it done for that matter... <strike>Haha, I'm failing right now...
</strike>4th period, mixed chorus/study hall: I normally love this class! And, like I said earlier, the teacher is awesome! But, my classmates make it a real bummer. Everyone thinks of it as a "all fun and talk / no study" type of class. That's exactly what they do. TALK. ALL THE TIME. Especially the few girls next to me. EXCUSE ME BUT I LIKE TO SING TYVM. PLEASE LET ME WITHOUT HEARING ABOUT WHICH GUY YOU THINK IS SOOOOO HOT. <strike>BECAUSE HE PROBABLY ISN'T.</strike>

Next up! School related activities! *loldork*

Quoting from my comment in leamonde's journal, "I'M MAKING AN ANIME/MANGA CLUB AT SCHOOL! YAY~! Look forward to that! ;)" Um. Except most of you can't look forward to it since you don't go to this shit hole. Tch, lucky.

First French Club meeting on Monday~ Yay for boules tournaments and crépes!

Spirit week is coming up. It has an ocean theme to it. Monday is Island day, Tuesday is Sea Creature day (yay, I'm bringing my stuffed dolphin), then there's "Wet Wednesday", and finally, Pirate Day. Friday is always red and black day... I'm probably going to wear a lei on Monday, wear a one-piece swimsuit for Wednesday, and wear an eyepatch for Thursday. (If I can find it...)

Related to the A/M club, I can't think of many fundraising ideas! Bake sale is all I've got, and something tells me that wouldn't go over well...

And finally, remember on my first post, when I said something like, "I would show you all my picture of Ryuuzaki Sakuno I drew but I'm not around any working scanners." Well...
WOW THAT DRAWING SUCKED! I've made another drawing recently (today) and it's good! 0.o But my scanner isn't working, dammit.
Au revoir!

I'd truly like to be proud of my country, so...
PLEASE STOP FUCKING EVERYTHING UP AND BRING OUR FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND LOVED ONES BACK FROM IRAQ PLZKTHNXBAI
Not-so-sincerely,
            Ayla Jean Peet

Dear, lovely, wonderful friends-list,
I know I don't comment much, but I read every single entry you make. It's not because I don't care about what you say that I don't comment, no way! I'm slightly selfish (okay, maybe not slightly...) and want to make a difference in your life. If you post about being stressed out, I want to say something other than some variation of "take some time for yourself!" If you post about spazzy, fangirly things, I want to say something besides things like "OMG that's hilarious!"
I do truly read everything on my f-list, and most of the time, don't know what to say other than "I'm glad you're having fun" or something.
Sincerely,
Ayla / kitkat583 / Frank / whatever you might call me

Last, but certainly not least,
leamonde

Dear Douglas,
haha, I was really hoping no one from school would find my LJ. In case you haven't noticed, I tend to curse more online than in school. Heck, I tend to TALK more online than in school. So, I'm glad it's just you! Imagine if Abby Edwards had found it, ugh...
Anyway, my point is, a shy girl's got to keep her reputation up, so if you wouldn't mind not showing this to anyone, I'd REALLY appreciate it. Thanks~<3

Also, I'll post something on cpy_rghtd_usrnmsoon, I promise! Orange?

I hope I didn't get any of these wrong or offend anyone...

Now then, RL stuff!

School isn't as bad as I thought it would be, thank goodness! My first period is French 2 with West, the most awesome teacher EVAR! Second is American History, I don't like it, but it's required... Then comes Algebra 1b, the teacher's pretty nice but I still don't like math. THEN CHOIR, YAY! The new teacher for that is so cool, he's really funny and actually teaches us things other than just the major and minor scales. And with choir comes study hall, which helps a lot. So anyway, not much drama around here yet. That's good, I don't know if I could stand it this early in the school year. Also, my dad made a child support payment, holy crap! :O
I'm volunteering at my mom's workplace, Villa Care, until I'm sixteen. Until then, I'll just dust pictures, clean railings, and fold laundry. *sigh*
About the cosplay thing, I've figured that if I save up all my paychecks until May, I'll have about $600 for costumes, hotel fees and stuff. Chloe and Ann said they probably can't do it. But Jessie and Lauren would love to. Jessie's dad isn't very strict, and Lauren said she'd beg if she had to, so... Yay! And I'm definately being Hisagi. (And maybe Kira too, as they are my new favorite characters.)
Anyone, as in just about everyone on my f-list, know what's going on in the Tenimyu world? I already know the third cast is graduating (;__; Seto, Taki, Doori, Minami, Masei, Watanabe, Shinpei, and Aiba! Why? It seems so early!) but anything besides that?
